In recent years, due to the improvement of living standards, changes in the diet structure, the increasingly tense life rhythm and the lifestyle of less movement and more sitting, the global incidence of diabetes has increased rapidly, and the impact of diabetes on people’s health in China has become increasingly serious. In addition, there are still many problems in the prevention and treatment of diabetes in China such as the low penetration rate of relevant knowledge about diabetes, and the general public’s awareness of diabetes does not match the trend of diabetes epidemic. Experts pointed out that because people’s diet structure is changing from plant type to animal type, high-fat and high-calorie foods are increasingly filling our lives, and the knowledge of diabetes and the concept of healthy life are not universal enough, which all
put forward higher requirements for the prevention and treatment ability and diabetes education in China.
Therefore, this book will elaborate on the introduction of diabetes, acute complications of diabetes, chronic complications of diabetes, and treatment of diabetes, combined with diabetes and its comorbidities, comprehensive management of diabetic patients, and care of special diabetes population.
Jian-Ping Su, male, the Han nationality, CPC member, associate chief physician, born in Lanzhou City of Gansu Province in November 1970. He graduated from Lanzhou University with a bachelor’s degree and started working in August 1992. As the first author, he has completed and published more than 10 papers and a book. He presided over and completed one provincial scientific research, participated in and completed 8 provincial and municipal scientific researches. He is currently the Secretary General of the Nephrology Committee of Traditional Chinese Medicine Society in Gansu Province, and the standing committee member of Gansu Provincial Endocrine Society for the elderly, Secretary-General of the Lanzhou Chinese Medicine Association, Secretary-General of the Nephrology and Diabetes Committee of the Lanzhou Society of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine.
苏建平，男，汉族， 1970 年 11 月生，甘肃兰州人，中共党员，副主任医师，毕业于兰州大学，本科学历， 1992 年 8 月正式参加工作。以第一作者身份完成并发表论文 10 余篇，发表专著 1 部，主持并完成省级科研一项，参与并完成省市级科研 8项，现任甘肃省中医药学会肾病专业委员会秘书长，甘肃省老年内分泌学会常务委员，兰州市中医学会秘书长，兰州市中西医结合学会肾病、糖尿病专业委员会秘书长等职。
Nan Guo, male, the Han nationality, CPC member, born in Lanzhou City of Gansu Province in July 1979. He graduated from Lanzhou Medical College with a bachelor’s degree in July 2002. He was appointed as deputy chief physician in 2015. He has written more than 30 medical books. He currently serves as a standing committee member of the Wound branch of China Association of Medical Equipment and Gansu Medical Ethics Society, and a member of the Colorectal Cancer Branch and Gastric Cancer Branch of Gansu Anti-cancer Association.
郭楠，男，汉族， 1979 年 7 月出生，甘肃兰州人， 2002 年 7 月毕业于兰州医学院， 学士学位。 2015 年聘为副主任医师。中共党员。撰写医学类著作三十余部。现任中国医学装备学会创面分会常委，甘肃省医学伦理学会常委，甘肃省抗癌协会大肠癌分会委员，甘肃省抗癌协会胃癌分会委员。
